NEET 2017, Expected Cutoff - (General, OBC, SC, ST, OPH) - Gov/ Private


NEET 2017 Exam was conducted on 7 May. A exam was held in 10 languages across the country. There are around 1972 exam centres in 103 cities. Lets check out what will be the expected cutoff for NEET 2017 according to the experts.



Expected cut-off:


"The cut-off for general category would lie between 380 and 410," says expert Rajshekhar Ratrey, VP Educational Content of Toppr.

The exam consisted of 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). The duration of the exam was of three hours.

A total of 11,38,890 candidates appeared for the exam.

Quotas for admission:


Admissions will be made in all India quota seats, state government quota seats, state/management/NRI quota seats in private medical/dental colleges or any private/deemed university and central pool quota seats.

About the exam:


The exam was conducted for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges run with an approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The results for the same are expected to be declared on June 8.
